I am sorry I did not notify V that I would not be having a Halloween Party on my blog. I hope you all have a amazing time and will visit me some other time. Thank you so much to all the blog friends that have taken the time to leave me love!
My life as I had known it ended suddenly, Monday, September 14,2009. My husband of 37 years passed away. We grew up together and had planned to grow old together. He was finally retiring in two months.
Our youngest son is getting married in two and a half weeks. I told him, one very happy loving marriage just ended but a new happy loving marriage is about to start.
I have shared so much with all my beautiful blog friends.Be sure to tell those you love how much they mean to you every day.
Yesterday was so special to me in more ways than one. My youngest son (who is getting married in less than four weeks) Took me to our local pow wow. My Indian mother would of been so proud of us. Many tribe nations were there. Lots of dancing, food and crafts. It reunited me with my proud heritage. Thought I would share the spirit with my blog friends.Enjoy!
If you missed the Tea Party over at V's now is your chance. She throws the greatest blog parties. One thing is she doesn't put a closing date for sign ups until the day of the party. You won't be sorry!
I have been so busy getting things ready for the Bridal Shower that's happening the end of this month. Thought Id share some. The first two pics are of the favor cake. Blue and white are the colors. Each slice has two hersey roses inside. The top of each slice has the letter J and L (for the couples names.)
This is a crown for the bride to wear during the shower
These are some of the gifts made for the bride. Two garters, one to keep and one to throw. Cd's, music for weddings,The Chicken Dance, music for daughter and father dance. Music for the couples first dance. And a dream catcher, two catchers combined to make one.
The wedding is less than two months away. Lots of friends, family and love!
Just ten more days and this darling little girl, WeeKron, will become our little girl! WeeKron in Irish means, Little Friend. She has a big brother waiting to teach her all kinds of tricks.I can't wait...until she's potty trained!

Howdy! I'm back from Texas and glad to be home. While I was in the great state of Texas I had my wallet stolen. No money,no charge cards,no id, NO FUN!
Now I'm running around trying to get my id back. I did stop for one second and ask myself if I still wanted to be me....................ofcourse I do! Just not in Texas!
This beautiful guy was with us for fifteen years. He was bigger than life and the first Grandson for my sister. He is walking tall today and my Mom has him under her wing. Gage you are so in our hearts!Rest in Peace!
This is the biggest and best tea party of the summer.Vanessa over at http:// afancifultwist.typepad.com is having her second annual not to be missed bash.It is so worth the views and all the eye candy you could ever handle. Don't miss it, Saturday, June 27th!
This is such a cute idea for those who like to eat outdoors. You could use almost anything small to weigh your table clothes down so they don't blow up or away. Lots of outdoor eating this year! Enjoy!
Once again I was surfing the net and came across some fancy cupcake wrappers. They weren't the laser ones but they were cute. I was thinking about ordering some for a bridal shower. Had a brain moment and thought I'd share with you.
I took a paper cupcake wrapper . Cut the bottom out of it. Cut it up one side. Layed it down on a piece of card stock and traced and cut it out. Instant pattern to trace onto whatever kind of paper design I needed. I made the top just a little taller and trimmed the top with the fancy scissors. Glued the sided together and just dropped a cupcake into it.
How much easier could it get? This would be great for any affair or just to say "You're special", 4th july,birthday,anniversary.........etc! Hope someone else can use this. If you try it please share with us! Have a great weekend!
What on earth was I thinking????? My son is getting married in October. I was surfing the net last night and came across a beautiful wedding gater. It was only $30. I looked at it for several minutes and said, I can make that. Spent a good hour in Joanns looking for just the right lace, color ribbon, elastic, material glue and wedding charms. It only cost $25 for everything.............am I nuts? (click on picture to get a closer look) My soon to be daughter in-law will so appericate it. Note to self: Don't ever think this again! I just hope it turns out as pretty as it is in my crazy mind! =o)
Went to our local Amish market this morning and just had to share my finds with you. This beautiful Greman tin doll head was a thrill for me. I might have paid too much but she screamed to come home with me.
As in my earlier post you know I love "The Secret Garden". I found this copy printed in 1949. It has to be the earliest edition I now own.
Last are some flowers I picked up to plant if it ever stops rainning. My puppy is checking out my flowers. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
The best intentions were meant but the old flu hit me hard. Finally finished the "Secret Garden" room I was so excited about making. It will be finished when I find two small pictures to slide inside the frames on the inside of the doors. It is a little busier than I hoped. It was fun and I hope you enjoy looking!
I have finally met up with my muse! It has been gone for awhile and I didn't think it was ever coming back. I'm showing you a little tease of what I am working on. It's titled "The Secret Garden." I really love that story. Many moons ago my fifth grade teacher read that story to our class. I have never for gotten it!
Here is some of the hardware I have been saving for a special project. Now if I can just get it to turn out the way I imagine it?
Do I have your interest peaked? Hope to have it all put together in a few days.
Thanks to all of you who have been checking in. Please come back!!!!! I'm back!
