This is the biggest and best tea party of the summer.Vanessa over at http:// afancifultwist.typepad.com is having her second annual not to be missed bash.It is so worth the views and all the eye candy you could ever handle. Don't miss it, Saturday, June 27th!
This is such a cute idea for those who like to eat outdoors. You could use almost anything small to weigh your table clothes down so they don't blow up or away. Lots of outdoor eating this year! Enjoy!
Trying something old but new to me. I molded this doll head with paper towels. I kind of like the way it turned out.

Honoring those who gave their lives for us to live in freedom. Bless you and those that are now serving!
Once again I was surfing the net and came across some fancy cupcake wrappers. They weren't the laser ones but they were cute. I was thinking about ordering some for a bridal shower. Had a brain moment and thought I'd share with you.
I took a paper cupcake wrapper . Cut the bottom out of it. Cut it up one side. Layed it down on a piece of card stock and traced and cut it out. Instant pattern to trace onto whatever kind of paper design I needed. I made the top just a little taller and trimmed the top with the fancy scissors. Glued the sided together and just dropped a cupcake into it.

How much easier could it get? This would be great for any affair or just to say "You're special", 4th july,birthday,anniversary.........etc! Hope someone else can use this. If you try it please share with us! Have a great weekend!

What on earth was I thinking????? My son is getting married in October. I was surfing the net last night and came across a beautiful wedding gater. It was only $30. I looked at it for several minutes and said, I can make that. Spent a good hour in Joanns looking for just the right lace, color ribbon, elastic, material glue and wedding charms. It only cost $25 for everything.............am I nuts? (click on picture to get a closer look) My soon to be daughter in-law will so appericate it. Note to self: Don't ever think this again! I just hope it turns out as pretty as it is in my crazy mind! =o)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you lovely women in blog land. This is for my Mom! I love you and miss your smile everyday........XO
